About Flying Scotsman
The most famous train service in Britain, running between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh. The first non-stop service ran in 1928 using a corridor tender so crew could change mid-journey. The locomotive named Flying Scotsman, built in 1923, was the first steam engine to officially reach 100 mph in 1934.
