About Grand Canyon Railway

The railroad to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, opened in 1901. Service lapsed in 1968 but was revived in 1989 as a heritage tourist railway. Holdups by masked bandits are staged on most trips. Trains leave daily from the 1908 Fray Marcos depot in Williams.
