About Kalka-Shimla Railway
A UNESCO World Heritage narrow gauge line built to serve the summer capital of British India. Passes through more than 100 tunnels and over 800 bridges in just 96 km. Uses 762 mm gauge with tight curves to climb into the Himalayan foothills. The Barog tunnel is over a kilometre long.
