About Serra Verde Express
The great Serra do Mar railway climbs from the coastal port of Paranagua to the Curitiba plateau. Crosses dozens of bridges and viaducts, including the 55 m high Sao Joao viaduct. One of the supreme engineering feats of 19th century South America. Tourist trains still run the full mountain section.
